For a flawless application, start with hydrated, smooth lips—tints can cling to dry patches, so a quick lip scrub beforehand is a game-changer. Apply a few dots of the tint to the center of your lips and quickly blend outward using your fingertip or a cotton swab. Because tints dry fast, you have to work quickly to diffuse the edges before the pigment "sets." For a trendy "gradient" or "ombré" look, keep the color concentrated on the inner part of your lips and leave the outer edges bare or softened with a bit of concealer.

Pro Tip: Lip tints can be quite drying once they set. To keep your lips looking juicy, wait 60 seconds for the tint to fully dry, then layer your lip oil on top for a shot of hydration and shine.
