To get the most impact, start by wiggling the wand at the very base of your lashes to deposit the most pigment there—this creates the illusion of a thicker lash line. Then, sweep the wand upward through the lengths in a steady motion. For extra separation and to avoid clumps, use a zigzag motion as you pull the brush toward the tips. If you want a more "cat-eye" or flared look, pull the outer lashes toward your temples. Don't forget to let the first coat dry for about 30 seconds before adding a second layer to prevent "spider lashes."

Pro Tip: If you accidentally get mascara on your eyelid, don't wipe it immediately! Wait for it to dry completely, then gently flick it off with a clean, dry spoolie or a Q-tip. It will flake right off without smudging your eyeshadow or concealer.
